Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure guests food arrives properly to the tables
  • Works with the kitchen to ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared before delivering to the table
  • Ensures that proper plating is done by the kitchen
  • Ensures quality of food before it is dropped at the tables

Requirements:

  • Active Food Handlers Card
  • Previous kitchen/cooking experience

Duties:

  • Communicate with all staff during the shift so that everyone is aware of 86'd items and menu specials
  • Ensure that all safety and health standards are maintained to Health Department standards
  • Make sure plating guides are followed
  • Observe guest feedback and confer with team members and servers to make sure guests are satisfied

Skill Set:

  • Ability to work with Executive Chef and Chef d'cuisine
  • Ability to work with all stations of the kitchen operation
  • Excellent Communication/Organization skills
